Governor Radda Pledges to Upgrade Maiadua Comprehensive Health Centre to General Hospital

Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda,
PhD CON, has promised to further upgrade the Maiadua Comprehensive Health Centre to the status of a General Hospital before the expiration of his tenure in office.
Governor Radda gave this assurance during an inspection visit to the healthcare facility as part of his tour of healthcare institutions in the Daura zone.
"I have directed experts from the State Ministry of Health to visit the Maiadua Comprehensive Health Centre, conduct further assessments, and advise the state government on the best approach to elevate the center to a General Hospital," the Governor stated.
The Governor explained that this decision was informed by the large number of patients, including those from the neighbouring Niger Republic, seeking medical attention at the health institution.
The Chairman of Maiadua Local Government, Alhaji Muhammadu Ma-Allahu, expressed gratitude to Governor Radda for prioritizing the area among his administration's focus.
The ongoing tour of healthcare facilities by Governor Radda further reaffirms the administration committment to improving healthcare infrastructure and service delivery across Katsina State.
